History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Vani was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Vani decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Stableman born in the past three hundred years. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. Her beige fur is unkempt and raggedy. This green eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born to a Miner, her mother struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Pelt took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Being a Adventurer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Watson and his spouse have recently divorced.
