Personality: Merla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Merla was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
