Personality: She is a Sage first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Grai was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Darrak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She became a Brewer soon after.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
