Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Emen was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emen decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Hirrathak lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and revenge

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and regain custody of his daughter
