History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. She became a Shoemaker soon after.

Personality: Barakas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
