History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Volen reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Elaim began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Naamah embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Xanaphia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.
