History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Seere alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
