History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is short and blue. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Cairn wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cairn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cairn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Susannah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and to clean up the streets

Description: This man is very fat, and wears long strands of aquamarine and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are copper and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Five hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by his family
