History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up work as a Marshal and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Fragrant enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Fragrant took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Fragrant never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
