History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veloptima grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veloptima. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veloptima fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
