History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She's also a talented Spy, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
