History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
