Personality: Barendd speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Barendd took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and a rival would like her out of the picture

She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
