History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Blendaeth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Blendaeth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world
