History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Oolah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Oolah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
