History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. Nelkin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nelkin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently the stress of being a Merchant has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her black hair, when down, is lengthy. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Kristryd was born with her father's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her lance with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. She has green eyes and a blue hat with a brown feather.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Vadania was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Healer. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Dwarves. His skin is light but he possesses many pastel ritualistic tattoos. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kilvar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
