History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Diesa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Diesa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
