Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with red slacks. He sports a long silver beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Standing 5'9", this man wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His red fur is singed and shortened. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Williamina was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A 6'4" southern woman, she tends to wear a large black jacket. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Gomory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gomory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to be a priest again
