History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Godfrey was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Godfrey's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Eida hails from a village terrorized by giants. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants.
