History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balifra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balifra. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Performer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
