Breena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Breena. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Medrash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After months of barely getting by, Medrash managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

History: Rohesia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Brewer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a brewer and was forced into it by her family
