Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and many drow want him driven away

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thiala grew up listening to her father's many stories. A freak accident while working with her Shoemaker father left her crippled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This late middle aged woman wears rags and sports a simple walking cane and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is short and brown. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and further expansion of business

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear flannel. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His ears are large.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
