His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Alexandre took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Bolhild was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Glassblower but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a Carpenter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with her Carpenter mother left her crippled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Cumpen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and revenge

She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Carlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Herbalist kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
