Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An older woman who is dressed in earthy colors with a white and black handkerchief worn on her left side, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is cut close to her head. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She got into the Gardener business at a young age. Vani liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Keyleth enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Keyleth studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Portia is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Butcher, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mortician responsibilities is difficult.
