Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arnold's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Arnold was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Arnold took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents enrolled him in a Druid school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against illithids

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she would like to get married and retire
