History: Maiathah hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Maiathah was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Tree hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tree fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
