History: Andraste hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Andraste alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She worked as a nervous Actor and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new actor responsibilities is difficult

Her long black fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she's repulsed by the pc

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear flannel. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. He is baby faced.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
