Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Nim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her blonde hair is thinning but still full. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Mardnab hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Mardnab was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mardnab's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
