He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has taken up work as a Brewer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: Ahrim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Marbas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
