She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Jeweler like her mother before her.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
