Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Emerald lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Salasar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
