When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is very fat, and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He became a Shepherd soon after.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Siffress liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Siffress and her spouse have recently divorced.
