History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Knight arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Rolf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rolf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
