To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rosamund. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Shava would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Unvera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aura grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Detective, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
