History: Thoradin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an entirely grey suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His head has been shaved. He has amber eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wants to work out more often

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he prefers to wear flannel. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zaffrab embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: She wears suspenders and black workpants. Her shirt is grey, and she wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length copper crest. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To protect her home; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult
