Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a black coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His blonde hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker yellow hat.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she tends to wear a blue poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is short and brown. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ulla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Ulla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
