When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Nordak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult
