History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Balifra learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor
