Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Gerald was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is his passion

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gynnie embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Gynnie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She struck the Miller job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a painter again

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a black costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His silver eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Modean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Modean grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Modean. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
