Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
