History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Mayor, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Mella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Kûga hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kûga alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
