History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Malquis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born in the west. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Jaxi was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. His hair is silver and very short. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Courier business.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Courier kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
