History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ruloth is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Ruloth was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hamil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He tends to his Fisher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
