History: Rurik was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rurik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly clubs and shortbows. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Delre was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Delre decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Rael enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has decided he is irredeemable
