Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. The war was a terrible time for him, and Elegant does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elegant fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: 3'4" and muscular, this northern man wears dull white sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: This woman wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but she was a colossal failure. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by lycanthropy.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Bookbinder; and wants a kiss

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears long strands of opal and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her feathered blue hat.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and an old rival family wants her found
