History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Gaaki never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was born in a small desert village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
