She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Joan was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Architect hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Scribe job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the west to a Glassblower, Anakis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has worked as a Glassblower like her father before her.
