History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Aline was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Nithther lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
