History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Rurik was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Rurik was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rurik's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is dressed in earthy colors with a white and brown handkerchief worn on her left side. Her golden hair is wavy and long. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vanchu never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Barber; and she's in love

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
