Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: Born in the east to a Seamstress, Ribbles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Seamstress. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Valorean's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Valorean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Kilia was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Laborer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
